We cater for both boys and girls as young as 5 years old through to 14 year old’s.

What standards do you cater for?

We cater for all standards but it is helpful if you could inform us on the entry form if your child is a beginner or has never played before.

Can we borrow equipment?

For ages 5-8 (Quickstsicks) we have a large selection of sticks. For ages 9-14 we have a smaller selection but if you let us know in advance we should be able to sort something.

Are GK’s allowed on the camp?

We can cater for up to 4 GK’s a camp but they must be able to provide their own equipment.

What happens if the camp is cancelled?

We only run outdoor camps during the more milder times of the year to hopefully avoid any cancellations due to an unsafe surface. However in the event of freak weather or other unforeseen circumstances and we had to cancel a camp then all money would be returned.

Can children buy lunch at the venue?

Our main partner site is Ipswich Hockey Club and sadly there are NO options to purchase food. All players must bring a packed lunch.

What happens if my child is gets an injury?

We have at least one fully qualified first-aider amongst our GFS coaching team. We also have a well stocked first aid kit and ice pitch side for minor injuries, bruises etc. We also have a documented accident procedure and form in place.

Can I watch the camp?

We advise that for children to settle into the camp and so they are not too distracted, it is better if their parents want to watch that they come along to the last hour for match play. We also request that parents watch from outside the fence for safety reasons.
